When Remington came home that day, he found his wife sitting in the living room. The moment he entered, she became furious, screaming at him, calling him every ugly name he could think of. He could not immagine what he had done wrong untill he heard “cheater… and … My sister, for goodness sake!”

He immediatly started apologising, but it all had no effect what so ever. Catherine just wouldn’t believe him, and he couldn’t blame her. Had he had seen what the maid had seen, he would have been convinced he was having an affair.
So he took his punishment and slept on the couch.

Two weeks later, he heard Catherine scream.

He rushed upstairs and found his wife in labour and in an enourmous puddle of blood. She looked terribly pale, but wouldn’t let Remington touch her.

Remington immediatly saw that this was no normal delivery. Catherine wasn’t due for another 5 weeks, and all that blood just wasn’t normal. Instead of calling Lyanna, their midwife, he called an ambulace.
By the time the ambulance arrived, Catherine had fainted, only breathing very slowly. Remington panicked, thinking he was going to lose her right now. The paramedics rushed a catheter in her arm, giving her some blood on the spot. The the put her on a stretcher and rushed her to the hospital in sim City, the small county hospital didn’t have neonatal intensive care, and for all they knew, the baby was in trouble.
At the hospital, Catherine was rushed in for an emergency C-section. Remington kept wandering down the hallway, repeating the words of the doctor to himseld “She is critical sir, but we’ll try and save the baby”. He was losing the love of his life and she tought he had cheated on him!!!

The operation seemed to last for hours, but finaly the doctor came to Remington, carrying a small package.
“Congratulations, Mister Legacy, you have a healthy daughter. You wife is recovering but when she is awake, the nurses will come and get you.”
Remington’s heart leaped with joy. His wife was allright and the baby was fine. It turned out Catherine’s placenta had ruptured, damaging the uterous in the proces. She would remain infirtile, but they had been able to stop the bleeding and save her life. Remington stayed with his wife the whole time, even tough she still wouldn’t talk to him. After three weeks, Catherine and Dyra were released from the hospital and went home.

Oh, how wonderfull it was to be able to tuck in her little girl at home. Catherine was pleased to be home. If only her marriage wasn’t over…

Two weeks after returning from the hospital, catherine heard a strangely familiar noise outside one night. She looked out the window and immediatly rushed to the platform.

Remington is abducted again

As he wasn’t able to sleep, knowing Cat was so mad at him, Remington had taken up his old stargazing hobby again. And apparantly, the aliens tought he was a good reproductive sample and kidnapped him once more.

Catherine went out of her mind. He wouldn’t leave her? They were in a fight, how could he just leave? She loved him, for goodness sake, he couldn’t just leave!

Catherine is worried

She called her sister for support. But all the little bitch had to say was “I don’t care. Serves him well, turning me down.” It all fell into place for Cat. Remington had told the truth. China had tried to seduce him and he had refused, that explained the fast departure of her sister. Oh, how could she have treated her husband that way??
What if he never returned? How would she cope??
