Catherine was still not over Remington’s death, even after two years.
At night, tucking in her baby girl, a pain often hit her out of the blue.

She knew only one thing could give her relief, talking to her grandmother, oh well, talking to her grandmothers grave. She went to the family graveyard and started crying.

Why? Catherine crying at the grave

“Why grandma? Why? Aren’t I entitled to a little bit of happyness in my life? IS our family doomed to have one tradgedy after another? Why did you leave us so soon? I was only just married, and you had to leave, Cole died such an excruciating death, grandpa’s accident and now my Remington. I loved him grandma, god knows I still love him so much. WIll I ever find happyness again?” She cried to the graves for an hour and afterwards felt exhausted but relieved. She swore to herself her children would be happy, she would live a long life and help them in as many ways as she could. Death would not take another one of her family for many years!

Soon, it was time for Dyra to grow up. The toddler decided to evolve without a party, just her mother present. SHe wasn’t a people person so it was fine by her.

Just a few weeks later, it was Déborah’s moment, she finaly would become 13. She was a family girl and had her birthday surrounded by her loved ones.

She immediatly went to check herself out in the mirror and decided that, with her new haircut and some make-up, she looked totally hot and ready to find herself a husband. Her mother giggled, but let the girl have her dreams, after all, it would be quite some time before Déborah would be getting married.

Lookin' good!

Cat fell into a mind-stomping routine of going to work, coming home, cooking dinner, helping the kids with their homework, going to bed, going to work, coming home, cooking…
All of the sudden, it was Dune’s 3rd birthday.

Remington had been gone for three whole years! Her life had been on hold for just as long. As she held her 3-year old son, brabling his first words to her, she decided it was time to move on. To mark her change, she wanted to change her style.
First, she tried the “sexy momma-look”, but that was a little to much for her.

After a few more attempts (farmer girl, tough chick, young at heart, mature business woman) she decided on the fresh but sexy theme. She tought she looked great, after 3 years of no make-up, ugly jeans and sweater and hair tied back in a knot.

The next afternoon, Kaylinn came up to her.

“Catherine, I need to talk to you.”
“Sure Kaylinn, what’s wrong?”
“Maybe we should go upstairs, I want to talk to you in private”

What does Kaylinn have to say? Will Cat find happiness again? Keep reading!

Gameplay Notes:
- Remington’s death was completely unexpected and unplanned. I have to admit, I toyed with the idea of reloading without saving, I was working on his 10kids want, really would have loved another alien kid, but then I realised, this being the legacy challenge, I couldn’t do that, so I went along with the story.

- Cat’s aspiration failure was the first one untill now in my Legacy family. I hate having to substract the points but I blaim that stupid starvation ghost Cole. I don’t know what freaks him out all of the sudden, he used to just open the fridge but now he is on his scare trip. Combine that with a very upset Sheldon and you have a problem. But the ghosts WILL stay.

- Remington’s grave, that I moved to the graveyard, dissapeared out of nothing. One moment it was there, the next it was gone. I have no idea what happened. I had the grave, so I am keeping the scared to death ghost points. Of course, in the process of the next 6 generations, I will try and get another ghost, but hey, I earned it, Cat had to lose her mind for it, so it stays!!
