Finaly the big day had come: Catherine and Kaylin’s wedding. Both women had chosen their wedding dresses seperate from each other, and Cat smiled seeing that her bride had chosen the same dress that she had chosen.

They didn’t have a big wedding. Most people in the small town of Rock Valley could simply not accept that two women, who both had had a hard life, found happiness in each other’s arms.
But Cat would not let that stop her from doing what her heart told her to do. She would marry her Kaylin, whether the town loathed them for it or not. So, it was just them, Cat’s children and the nanny at the wedding.
It was a short ceremony where they both read their self-written vows to each other. The church still did not accept same sex marriages so they didn’t even have a priest present, but to them, the wedding was as real as could be. After the exchanging of the vows, Catherine leaned in to give her new wife a long and passionate kiss, a symbol for their future together, she wispered to Kaylin.
The rest of the day was spend at home, eating a lovely pick-nick kaylin had prepared the day before. The kids played together and the two new spouses enjoyed the simple fact of being together. Who cared what the world tought? They had each other.
When the evening came, the brides excused themselves and claimed to be very tired. Déborah gave her mother a wink and said that she would look after the little ones. Just because they didn’t have the money for a honeymoon didn’t mean they weren’t going to enjoy the fact of being newlyweds!
The were both nerveous of what was to come. Neither of them had ever been with a woman before, but they where eager to consumate their marriage.
They layed there for half an hour, not knowing what to say or do, and then Kay broke the silence.
“Cat, you will never know how happy I am now, being your wife”
“Yes I will sweety, I am just as happy being here with you tonight” Cat said while looking at her wife’s eyes that were filled with love.
“We can wait, you know, if you want to” Kay said silently, knowing Cat was just as nerveous as she was.
“I don’t want to wait baby” Cat answered “I want you, now”
And she leaned in to kiss her wife.
Their love making was tender but still passionate that night and it didn’t stay at that one time. Cat discovered how tender her lover could be and Kay discovered a whole new side to Cat she never tought her to have.
They slept in the next morning, knowing that Darian and Deb would look after their brother’s and sisters untill the nanny arrived.
When they finaly got up, Kaylin approached Catherine. She had a serious look on her face.
“Cat, can we talk?” she said, looking very concerned.
Catherine was concerned, what could trouble her love’s mind that she was this serious the morning after their wedding?
“Sure sweetheart.” she said, and Kaylin started to speak.
What does Kaylin have to say? Will this damage their relationship?
