Then the big moment was there, they were pronounced husband and wife and Ira kissed his bride to seal their bond. More than one cleenex was used during that moment, all the guests were touched by the love this couple obviously shared.

When the formal moments were done, the wedding reception could start. Being two young people, freshly out of college, they didn’t have a lot of money to spill on a grand feast so they held a reception with a walking buffet in the back yard of the small house they had build together. The weather was beautifull so it was the perfect outside.

The party ended with the last bottle of champagne being opened and a toast to the bride, right before the coupled headed of on their short honeymoon.
They went to spend the weekend in a small cabin near the beach Ira had been able to rent for a small price. They ate lobster they catched in the ocean, took long walks by the beached and enjoyed the solitude by consumating the marriage about everywhere that wasn’t the bed.
A few weeks after the honeymoon, Jennifer felt ill. She had eaten a plate of left over chicken the night before and it obviously wasn’t eadible anymore.

Jen and Ira enjoyed their newlywed status. Yes, they had lived together before, but in the greek house, somebody was always around. Here, in Rock Valley, the had their own house, all to themselves. The cuddled up on the couch almost every night, knowing that one thing would lead to another.

It wasn’t long before Jennifer realised some bad chicken could not cause her nausia that had been lasting for four weeks now. A quick trip to the doctor confirmed her suspicions: she was pregnant! Guess all that woohooing had some consequences. Luckily Ira was thrilled to hear the news, he was glad to become a dad so soon in his marriage and loved Jennifer even more, if possible, now that he knew she was carrying his child. Every night, when he got home from work, he rubbed her tummy and talked to his unborn child.

Hey, that toddler is really cute! I like her eyes. Sounds like Jennifer is well on her way to having a successful family. Glad you’re posting again — I really enjoyed it!

What a nice story about Jennifer, I’m glad she and Ira worked it out and ended up married together.

@Jen: Yeah, things turned out good for her, not much is changing in the near future either, as you will see in the next chapters
@PRMami: wait ’till you see her as a teen!!
@Catootje: the blog will always remain in English, that way more people are able to read it plus, I play my sims in English and have absolutely no idea what some of the stuff are called in Dutch. Kind of the same problem I have with Harry Potter, I read them in English but when I talk about it with my babysit-children, they use the Dutch names and I have no idea who they are talking about. Good thing my english is quite alright.
