But then, tragedy struck the Mason household, one day, while trying to repair the trash compactor in the nursery, Dorian got electrocuted. Faith called the ambulance, but it came to late, her husband, the love of her life and the father of her children, was gone.

Faith didn’t know what to do. There she was, 30 years old, mother of twins and guardian of a strange green kid, all alone. The poor woman couldn’t handle things on her own. The day after the funeral, she called the only friend she ever had: her former college professor Luc.
Luc came over right away and found her there, sitting in her bedroom wearing one of Dorian’s old shirts, with the curtains closed, the house uncleaned and the children hungry.

He decided to take matter in his own hands. He put Faith in the shower (she hadn’t washed since Dorian died two weeks earlier), called for groceries, made dinner for the twins, bathed them and baby Gaheris, cleaned the house and aired out the whole place. Then he put Faith back to bed and told her, without asking, that he was moving in untill she could manage again.
Weeks and months passed and Luc and Faith fell into a comfortable routine. Luc gave her all the time she needed, but after a year, he wanted her to know he still loved her. Before even having kissed her, he proposed to her, telling her that she could have more time if she wanted to, that he would wait, but that he would always be there for her.

Faith told him she wasn’t ready, that she couldn’t think about marrying anybody while she still mourned Dorian. Luc told her she could have time, as much time as she needed, so she said yes to the engagement.
Years went by while Faith and Luc grew closer and closer together. After 7 years of living together, Faith finally alowed him to share her bed. Luc couldn’t have been happier.
The twins were now teenagers, 17 years old and full of plans for the future, when their mother announces she is going to get married again. After all those years, she has finally confessed to Luc the twins might be his and a paternity test shows they are indeed his children, so on the day he weds their mother, Luc adopts his boys and gains an entire family.

A few weeks after the wedding, the boys leave for college and a few weeks after that, Faith, now 38 discovers she is once more with child.

Nine months later, the boys receive a phone call and an E-mailed picture of their new baby sister Morgaine.

How will life turn out to be for Morgaine?? Will Faith finally find happiness?? Keep reading!!

Awww … the poor alien baby. His “mom” doesn’t like him? *cry* What a not-nice thing!!! And the twins are LUC’S?! If her REAL husband was alive, he’d be so upset!!

Yup. The twins are indeed Luc’s. I never intended it to become public, just needed the professor-point somewhere, so when Dorian died (all by himself!! I never wanted to kill him off!!) I tought it would be fun to write it into the story.
In the game, Faith loves Gaheris as much as her own twins, but for the story I am writing for them, he needs to be the “outcast”… You’ll see why in the next update or so.

Even on triple speed you have played this family interestingly and written a nice update about it. Can’t wait to read the intrigue about the alien boy.

Oh I knew Luc wasn’t gone forever. I had a feeling he’d be back and here he is. What a twist! So how do the twins feel about their real father? I’m excited to see the rest of the story.

I could need a Luc myself; he seems like an effective guy judged by what he accomplished in just one day when Faith was mourning. *lol* Somehow I don’t think the drama is over for Faith though…

@ Catootje: Thank you, I discovered the story while looking at the few pictures I had taken of this family… I’m playing them again right now and after going into tripple speed for a while, they became interesting enough again to play them at regular speed.
@ Amanda: The twins, in the game, know he is their father, but they are not good friends because I never made them interact with him… Bad controller… Baaaadddd controller!!
@ Qosmic: Nope. More drame ahead, just read the next update. I’m lucky, I found “my Luc” IRL five years ago, don’t know what I would do without him!!
