The house suddenly turned into a beehive. Gaheris allerted Faith who instantly called the ambulance.
“No time” Morgaine said suddenly “This kid is coming out, and it’s coming right now”
“Sweety, it’s your first, firtsborns never arrive this fast” her mother said, in a reassuring voice trying to calm her daughter down.
“I know mom, but I’ve been feeling things since this morning.”
“You’ve had contractions all day and you didn’t tell us??” Gaheris started to panic.
“I didn’t know they were contractions, Gaheris, how could I know?”
Faith decided to stop the beginning arguement between her children and directed Gaheris to the telephone.
“Call the neighbours. Mr. Smith is a OBGYN, if he’s home, ask him to come over immediatly. Morgaine, darling, will you make it to your bedroom?”
“I’ll try mom. I’ll try” and she started walking towards the bedroom door but collapsed on the floor.
“I guess not. Let’s see if we can get you into the sofa then.” was her mother’s calm reply.
By the time Morgaine was on the couch and Dr.Smith arrived, the baby was ready to be born and pretty soon, the doctor handed Morgaine her first born child, baby Gwen, a beatifull baby girl. Well, not exactly beautifull to the world, but her mother got lost in the childs brown eyes and forgot everything else.

“She looks like Gaheris did, when he was a baby” the proud grandmother told them “Before his surgery” (Gaheris, not very happy about his alien looks, had had some plastic surgery done when he had turned eighteen)
Gaheris was absolutely extatic about the birth of his daughter and couldn’t stop looking at her.

A week later, the family had fallen into a nice routine. The young parents had decided it was best to put the crib in their room, to ensure that they heard their daughter when she cried.
That night, as Gaheris sat down on his bed, he suddenly felt Morgaine’s hands touching his body. She moved closer to him and whispered: “We haven’t celebrated the birth of Gwen yet” and then proceded with what she had been doing. Gaheris didn’t need to be told twice, by the end of her pregnancy his wife hadn’t shown that type of interest in him anymore and he was a young man after all.

The walls were not that thick in the Mason house and Faith, who slept in the room next door to her daughter’s, heard the familiar sounds and felt the hurt of both her loves grow. She had had enough of this loneliness.
Luc had been gone for six months now, six lonely months and she couldn’t take it any more. She was a woman of the spiritual world and had stumbled accros a way to revive the dead.
That night, Faith decided to revive the love of her life.

Before doing what she asked, the reaper asked her if she wanted to proceed. He told her she would be with both her husbands pretty soon. Faith got startled by the news but decided to go ahead and do it, even if she would be gone soon herself. And so, the grim reaper performed his magic and revived Faith’s greatest love.

When she saw her Dorian again after all those years, Faith couldn’t control herself any longer: she jumped up in his arms and kissed him with more passion than she had felt since she became an elder.
Dorian, still a young man, didn’t mind that his wife was older now. He had watched her from the beyond and still loved her dearly, to him, they had never been appart. He took his wife into their bedchamber and they didn’t come out for two days.
Eventually, Faith said she had to go and get them something to eat. She walked out of her room and on her way to the kitchen, she heard some hawaïan music playing. She turned around and saw the reaper appear.
“I told you it wouldn’t be for long” he said, while handign Faith a longdrink.
“I don’t mind. I saw him again” Faith replied.
She said some quick goodbyes to her husband and children and then faded away into paradise.

Dorian comforted his stepdaughter and his son.
“She knew son. She got me back so that you could know your parent. Did you know that?? Faith loved you Gaheris, she was just affraid of losing you too after I died” he hugged his grown boy for the first time in 26 years.

Meep! I’m just worried that Morgaine and Gaheris will dote so much on their children, they’ll grow up to be spoiled.
But, no, that’s not the way of Legacy children! They always grow to be strong, healthy individuals!
It’s in the genes, you know?
You always pick the best one to be the heir, right? So they get good-people genes. (Sounds like good-people cooties. EEE! COOTIES! *squirmsquirm*)
