gameplay notes
While playing the Mason-family, a few sim-days after Morgaine had given birth to her second child, my game crashed. For once I hadn’t saved in a while, so I lost quite some game-play. I made up for it, but while baby number two in the first try had Morgaine’s skin tone, it came out green like daddy on the second try. I played trough the second time on tripple speed, making sure to get them exactly where they were the first time, but decided to use the pictures I had taken on try number one. So, halfway trough this post, the second child will change appearance. Just so you’d know…
Morgaine continued to be the perfect mother all trough her pregnancy. Quality time with her family was on the top of her prioritylist so she insisted they all spend some time together whenever they could. Morgaine read every childrensbook she could find to her baby girl, hoping this will make her love literature as much as she does.

After Gaheris had given her a bath, mom made sure to kiss her baby goodnight. It was part of the bedtime-routine that made sure little Gwenny fell asleep hastlefree.

In the morning, Morgaine got up and made breakfast for Gaheris, so that he had a proper meal before going to work. While he showered, she cooked his pancakes and made his lunch. By the time Gaheris had left for work, Morgaine went to get Gwen, got her dressed and into her high chair so that mother and daughter could eat their breakfast together. Even tough Gwen still needed her bottle every now and then, she was eating solid food now three times a day.

Gwen was four years old now, time for a big-girl-birthdayparty! Morgaine had bought her daughter a pretty cake with candles on it for the girl to blow out, even tough mom had to help to ensure the child would not burn her fingers on the lit candles.

The toddler had turned into a charming little girl before their very eyes! After some cake, a shower and a bedtime-story (Gwen insisted her mother carried on with those), the birthday girl was ready for bed)

Morgaine, now in her third trimester, had gained a healthy sexual appetite recently, which Gaheris did not complain about, so the couple could often be found making out or locked up in their bedroom after little Gwen had gone of to bed.

The love between those two grew with the growing of Morgaine’s tummy.
Gaheris, now a well-known artist, had taken a liking of taking photographs of his wife during every stage of her pregnancy. He did this with a lot of care, making sure the best side of the woman he loved showed up in every picture.

Somewhere near the end of her pregnancy, Morgaine had invited Dorian to have diner with them so that her husband could spend some quality time with his father. She had started preparing early in the afternoon, as she had decided to prepare a lobster and the animal needed to be cooked in the oven at about 170° for three hours before it was ready. She had been rather tired lately and needed an afternoon nap so the lobster needed to be stuffed before she could go and ly down.

Wow … what a family. I’m glad that you managed to plow through the game even though you lost so much. Great stuff!

Hey Yannick, I didn’t realize you had started blogging again — I’ve been bad at checking all the sites on my list lately. I’m so glad you’re back though, and now I’m caught up on the Masons. They’re a really interesting family, and they’re coming along so well! And I love the name “Keffria”, very pretty.

@ Anjel76: Thank you. I didn’t have a lot of choice in the matter did I?? Plus, I had taken a lot of nice pictures and didn’t want those to go to waiste.
@ Jen: No problem, glad you found the way back. For the Keffria/Althea/Amber names (and some in future children), I have to give credit to the author of my favorite books, Robin Hobb, who, among others, wrote the Liveship trilogy.

Did someone lose siblings in a car crash or fire? That feels horrible. It happened to me when I was only 11 years old- it broke my heart.
