Morgaine was a happy toddler, a clever girl and a good student both in high school and in college. She grew up in a happy home with a mother that loved her and a father that adored her. To him, as much as he loved his sons, she was his “real” child, the one he helped to raise, the one he changed diapers for, tought to talk, to read and to do her homework.
Morgaine loved her parents as much as they loved her, but still, she found it quite confusing that the other child growing up in their home was not the child of her parents.
Gaheris never had a happy childhood. He had everything a little boy needed and Faith took good care of her fosterson, but he never felt the love like Morgaine did. To Faith, the boy reminded her too much of her late husband, to Luc, he was the symbol of the man who took his Faith away from him. The only one who truely cared about him, seemed to be his baby-stepsister Morgaine, who was years his junior.

The Legacy family: Life and Times, part 2
Still a faw more satelite houses to go, so let’s get started.
Darian
Darian, Remingtons alien child, moved out with his two little brothers at some point in the whole “Catherine and Kaylin” mess. It was a quiet move, made because Darian, now an adult didn’t find the house appropriate for two young boys. So with a baby Dennis and toddler Dune he moved into a small house on the other side of town. The neighbourhood soon adjusted to the young green man who raised two children on his own and the kids called Darian dad. Nobody asked any questions, only Kaylin, who lived around the corner, knew the truth, but she remained silent for the sake of her adopted son.
Darian never found the love of his life and took pride in raising his younger siblings the best he could. When both boys had reached adulthood and Darian was a few days away from his 5Oth birthday, tradgedy struck. Upon watching the clouds outside, Darian got killed by a satelite that fell from the sky. The boys were gobsmacked.
They burried their “father” in the garden and continued to live together. Neither of them was good with women, instead they chose the path of science, even tough they were both more family oriented.
Since the previous update seemed to be confusing to some of my readers, I have created a family tree of the Legacy family, starting with Anna and Sheldon, which contains all of their offspring and thus also all of the satelite families.
The tree does not show who is dead and who is not, nor does it show where the person lives, but it does show all the family ties and hopefully will make the previous and the upcomming update easier to read.
The first name of each branch is the child of the couple the branch starts from. An X between two names means marriage, and the curly thing means relationship. If a person has two marriages, both spouses are situated underneath each other, the first one is the one that is highest, the children from each of those relationships start from the other parent.
If there is no partner mentioned, then there has never been one during the life of the sim.
I hope the image will make it all clear.

The Legacy family: Life and Times
It”s been quite a while since the last update on the Legacy family. A lot has happened, in the satelite houses time has past as well so I tought it was about time I got you all up to date with the present. I have decided to do all this in two updates, showing the most important moments instead of giving the whole story, since, well, most of their lives have not been exciting enough for a story. After this update, almost the entire Rock Valley neighbourhood will be up to date with my game play, so I can continue as I play.

Life went on for Kaylin and baby Annie. The young mother soon found a new pace in life, doing her housework and taking care of her newborn. Little did she know her life was going to change drasticly in the next few weeks…

Last time we left Kaylin Legacy happily married to Catherine and hoping to get pregnant as to enjoy all the ups and downs of pregnancy. What would have happened with her and the rest of the Legacy household??
Kaylin loved being a mom. She pampered her fosterson every chance she had and since she was a stay-at-home mother, she had a lot of chances. Their favorite game was “toss-Dennis-in-the-air”, the little boy lauched his lungs out when his mother threw him up in the air and caught him again. They could not have been closer if he had been her own child and as far as she was concerned, he was her own child, no matter what everybody said!
I HAD to do it. I know I lost a lot of things, but I had to do it.
My Legacy lot got bugged, nothing extremely serious, but it became quite impossible to play. Like a toddler who had moved out came back in the sims’ action queue’s “hold toddler” constantly, making it impossible for them to eat, sleep, use the toilet, go to work, unless I deleted the action. I am a micro-manager, but this was an inch to far.
Second, certain walls and floortiles on the second floor became undeletable. Very difficult if you want to move the house further back on the lot, it leaves you with floating tiles and walls. Not a pretty sight, plus they cast shadows on the lot.
A lot of other little things happend as well, all but one of my tombstones dissapeared on their own, so I didn’t lose a lot of ghosts. I did lose 3 carrier reward objects and some vials of elexir. But those can be rewon. And the graves were lost anyway. So, in a day or so, I will post an update on the new house, but now, I am very busy building them a pretty house that can stay for ever!!
They were so happy welcoming little Dennis in to their home. This boy was as much Cat’s as it was Kay’s and both women took an instant liking to their new son. Kaylin was extatic. Being a mother really suited her and she couldn’t have been any happier.
