gameplay notes

While playing the Mason-family, a few sim-days after Morgaine had given birth to her second child, my game crashed. For once I hadn’t saved in a while, so I lost quite some game-play. I made up for it, but while baby number two in the first try had Morgaine’s skin tone, it came out green like daddy on the second try. I played trough the second time on tripple speed, making sure to get them exactly where they were the first time, but decided to use the pictures I had taken on try number one. So, halfway trough this post, the second child will change appearance. Just so you’d know…

Morgaine continued to be the perfect mother all trough her pregnancy. Quality time with her family was on the top of her prioritylist so she insisted they all spend some time together whenever they could. Morgaine read every childrensbook she could find to her baby girl, hoping this will make her love literature as much as she does.

Faith took the loss of her second husband quite hard. Luckily, she had her daughter and future grandchild to fuss about, it kept her mind of things. But at night, when everyone was asleep, she often went out to the family cemetary to mourn her lost loves.

Once faith and Dorian had moved back home, life turned into a roller coaster for the bride-to-be. Her mother seemed to have taken over het life, shopping for every essential she claimed a young woman needed before her wedding.
Faith tried to explain they wanted to wait a little more, but Jennifer didn’t listen. One day, in all this madness, Faiths old boyfriend, professor Luc, came to her house. They hadn’t seen each other in years, but as Luc proclamed his everlasting love for her, Faith, who had serious doubts now that her life seemed to be ran by others, also started to feel the old spark again. Before they knew it, they were making out in the front yard like their life depended on it!

Last time we left the Mason household, Faith was but a mere toddler. Due to this players boredom with the happy family, I played them in tripple speed and didn’t take a lot of pictures, so there won’t be a lot of pictures on her childhood.

Not long after her daughter’s toddler birthday, Jennifer found herself to have the same cravings she had had two years earlier. A trip to the doctor’s office confirmed her suspicion: she was expecting again!!

Before exams and leaving on vacation, I had played the Mason family (my uni-LC family) for quite some time. I have a big update ready but am going to write it in three parts, to make it more readable AND to give me some time to play up some new material.
So: after a very, very long absence, tonight the next Mason update will be online!!

After Ira’s call, Jennifer first didn’t know how to respond.
He had hurt her bad, but in the end she knew she had to see what he had to tell her. She wasn’t over him, even tough she tought she was, so on the day of his graduation, she went to the house she had spent so much time in.

Before she knew it, Jennifer’s college years were over. She was now a college graduate, with a GPA of 3.8 (no summa cum laude for her, unfortunatly). She threw a graduation party and invited some of her girlfrieds she had made in class. Of course, Ira was there too but he had to go to class in the middle of the party and thus said his goodbyes earlier.

Time flew by and before Jen knew it, she was a junior and she hadn’t even made a friend yet!
Figures, since she’s been writing term papers and doing assignments for over 2 years now. When she wasn’t trying to earn some simoleans, she was always writing…

Yes they were whealthy. So? Did that have to mean she had to be happy? Even little rich girls are entitled to their own lives!
Jennifer was pissed off. The night before, her parents had informed her that if she would proceed with her plans to go to college anywhere but their own alma mater, they would cut down her funding. How could they? This was her life, she wanted to get rid of the reputation that clung to her name, she wanted to be known for who SHE was, not for what some great-grandfather had started. Jennifer was determined to create her own legacy.
